The Project Analyst 3 role is a developing professional position that involves dealing with most problems independently and having the latitude to solve complex problems. This role requires integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. You should have a good understanding of how your team and area integrate with others to achieve the objectives of the subfunction/job family. Analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies are essential for this role. Attention to detail is crucial when making judgments and recommendations based on factual information. The role typically deals with variable issues that could have broader business impact. As a Project Analyst 3, you will need to apply professional judgment when interpreting data and results, breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Your work will have a moderate but direct impact through close contact with the core activities of the business. The quality and timeliness of the service you provide will affect the effectiveness of your team and other closely related teams. Responsibilities: - Collect, measure, and analyze project management data. - Identify, track, and close project issues. - Ensure the creation of a project scope plan and project schedule. - Forecast project costs, track actual project costs, identify variances, and revise forecasted project costs as needed. - Create the project quality management plan, identify quality standards, and metrics to measure the achievement of these standards. - Identify project risks, perform probability and impact analysis, determine responses to risks, track risks, and execute responses as needed. - Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. - Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy. - Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members. - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, with a particular focus on safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets. - Preferred experience interacting with multiple clients/users in an IT analyst role requiring strong organizational skills and business judgment. - Ability to methodically synthesize and analyze data with precise qualitative outputs. - Attention to detail to ensure precision of data and overall quality of outputs. - Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.). - Ability to embrace and master new technologies and changing processes. - Work independently with minimal supervision and effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. - Excellent follow-up skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong leadership skills, team-orientation, interpersonal skills, flexibility, and strong analytical skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to establish rapport and build effective relationships across functions, regions, and all levels of management. - Motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to successfully manage multiple requests in a deadline-driven environment. Qualifications: - 7 - 10 years of experience in a relevant field. - Good knowledge of SQL/PL SQL queries. - Understanding of Oracle data models and integration with other modules. - Hands-on experience in Oracle debugging techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills.
