Oracle EBS DBA

As an Oracle EBS DBA, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining Oracle EBS and database environments, monitoring performance, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Oracle EBS and database environments for system stability. - Perform EBS and database upgrades with seamless transitions. - Monitor database performance and apply tuning techniques. - Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and replication strategies. - Conduct root cause analysis for production-related database issues. - Design, implement, and test disaster recovery solutions. - Ensure high availability of databases for mission-critical applications. - Utilize Oracle APPS DBA toolset for system administration and troubleshooting. - Maintain documentation for database policies, procedures, and best practices. Requirements: - Prior experience as an EBS DBA with hands-on knowledge of Oracle EBS environments. - Strong expertise in Oracle databases, performance tuning, replication, and backup/recovery strategies. - Ability to analyze and resolve complex database issues effectively. - Attention to detail in database management, patching, and compliance. - Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field. - Oracle EBS Certification (preferred). - Familiarity with reporting tools and database monitoring.
