Oracle DB Admin

As an Oracle Database Administrator at our company in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for database administration with PL/SQL work, design, development, and administration of Oracle databases, performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases, as well as managing and maintaining backups & recovery procedures. You will also be involved in the installation and maintenance of database server, replication, and client environments, designing database packages and procedures, as well as reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code. Key Responsibilities: - Database Administration with PL/SQL work - Design, development, and administration of Oracle databases - Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases - Management and maintenance of backups & recovery procedures - Installation and maintenance of database server, replication, and client environments - Designing database packages and procedures - Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code Qualifications Required: - Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science - 1.5-2 years of experience - In-depth knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g with production support experience in a multi-project environment - Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL including tuning - Familiarity with Oracle Recovery Manager, Import/Export (and Datapump) SQL*Loader - Experience working with multiple projects/tasks and the ability to prioritize on the fly - Experience supporting multiple teams within a business Please note that the package offered is the best in the industry, and you must be willing to work in rotating shifts, with the last shift ending at 2:30 am.,
