The Role:

Oracle Database Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and manage database schemas

  using Oracle 10G, 11G, and 12C.

• Write and optimize

  medium to complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability across Oracle 10G, 11G, and 12C databases.

• Develop and maintain application systems

  utilizing Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports (10G, 11G, and 12C).
• Collaborate with software developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and reliable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance and integrity issues.
• Document database architectures, standards, and processes to support long-term maintainability.

Technical Skills and Tool Proficiency

The ideal candidate must have experience with the following:

• Development Tools & Databases:

• Oracle Apex
• Oracle Business Intelligence (BI)
• Oracle Forms (10G, 11G, 12C)
• Oracle Reports (10G, 11G, 12C)
• Oracle WebLogic
• Oracle SQL Loader
• Oracle Designer (9i, 10G, 11G)
• Oracle Discoverer 10G (Discoverer Plus 10G, Discoverer Viewer 10G)
• Oracle Portal 10G

• Database Systems:

• Oracle Database 8, 8i, 9i, 10G, 11G, 12C

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven work experience in Oracle database development and administration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting complex database issues is highly desirable.
