#Freepost Designation: Oracle Database Administration Location: Bangalore Experience: 3+ years of experience Qualification: B.E, B. Tech, BCA, B. Sc, MCA Roles and Responsibilities Install and upgrade Oracle Server and related application tools. Allocate system storage and plan future storage requirements for database systems. Create primary database storage structures (e.g., tablespaces) based on application design specifications. Perform database structure creation and management at the schema level; support active reporting through data collection and report generation. Administer user access rights, manage authorizations, and enforce database security protocols. Implement and manage database server security in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs). Monitor and respond to database security alerts to ensure data integrity and compliance. Possess strong working knowledge of key Oracle technologies and tools, including: 1. Oracle RMAN , Data Guard , RAC , Data Pump , ASM 2. Oracle 11g Performance Tuning , Networking , SQL Database Grid , CRS Management 3. Firewall configuration and management Manage change and release processes; maintain and administer databases using Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control . Execute complex database migrations and collaborate effectively with offshore teams across diverse cultural backgrounds.
