Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA with expertise in Oracle SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the administration and support of Oracle E-Business Suite R12, as well as Oracle SOA Suite, with the ability to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain complex environments. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite R12 databases, applications, and related infrastructure, including Oracle SOA Suite. - Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Applications (EBS) R12, including patching, upgrades, and migration processes. - Provide 24\/7 support for Oracle applications, ensuring high availability and performance. - Manage and troubleshoot Oracle SOA Suite installations, including BPEL, Service Bus, and other related components. - Perform daily database backups, recovery, and performance tuning activities for Oracle Applications databases. - Monitor and resolve any performance or security issues related to Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle SOA environments. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle SOA Suite with other applications and systems. - Apply patches, updates, and security fixes for Oracle Applications R12 and Oracle SOA Suite. - Manage user roles and security for Oracle EBS and Oracle SOA Suite environments. Skills and Qualifications: - Must have experience with: o Oracle E-Business Suite R12 (EBS) database administration, configuration, and maintenance. o Oracle SOA Suite (installation, configuration, and support), including Oracle BPEL, Service Bus, and other related components. o Oracle Database (11g\/12c\/19c) administration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. o Expertise in managing Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle SOA Suite installations. o Knowledge of Oracle Applications R12 architecture and integration components. o Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite patching, cloning, and upgrade processes. o Strong understanding of Oracle technologies like RAC, Data Guard, and ASM. o Familiarity with Oracle Application Server (OAS) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). - Desirable Skills: o Oracle Cloud Integration experience is a plus. o Familiarity with Oracle Identity Management and security best practices. o Experience with tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle GoldenGate. o Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Perl, or Python for automation tasks. o Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a production environment. o Good communication and teamwork skills. Education & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps DBA, specifically with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle SOA Suite. - Relevant certifications in Oracle Database, Oracle SOA Suite, or Oracle E-Business Suite (OCP, OCA, etc.) are preferred.
