Optometrist Responsibilities: Provide Eye Exams and Assess Vision Health: Conduct comprehensive eye exams to evaluate patients vision and eye health. Diagnose and treat eye conditions, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and more. Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses or contact lenses) based on the individual needs of the patient. Patient Consultation and Education: Discuss eye care and vision-related issues with patients. Educate patients about proper eye care, preventive practices, and available treatment options. Provide recommendations for vision correction products, such as glasses or contacts, and explain their benefits. Maintain Medical Records: Document patient history, test results, and treatment plans. Update records to track patient progress and any changes in vision health over time. Sales Responsibilities (Outbound Calling): Customer Outreach: Initiate outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote optical products and services. Follow up with leads generated from marketing campaigns or referrals. Develop and maintain a customer contact list to increase sales opportunities. Product Promotion: Promote optical products (such as glasses, lenses, and eye care products) to customers. Upsell and cross-sell products based on individual customer needs and preferences. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly or quarterly sales targets and KPIs. Track and report sales performance to management. Keep up with trends and offers in the optical products and services market. Customer Service and Relationship Building: Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Address customer inquiries or concerns related to products, appointments, and eye health. Mini Trainer Responsibilities: Team Training: Conduct training sessions for new and existing team members on office procedures, products, and customer service techniques. Teach staff about optical products, their features, and how to promote them effectively. Provide hands-on demonstrations and role-playing activities to help team members understand their responsibilities. Sales Training: Train the sales team on effective outbound calling techniques, handling objections, and closing deals. Share best practices for increasing sales, improving customer interactions, and upselling. Monitor and Support Team Performance: Observe team members to ensure they are following proper procedures and achieving sales targets. Offer feedback and coaching to help staff improve performance. Assist with troubleshooting issues faced by team members and provide solutions. Product Knowledge Sharing: Ensure the team is updated with the latest product offerings, technologies, and industry trends. Help the team understand the technical aspects of products to confidently explain and sell them to customers.
