Job Summary: As a Retail Sales Officer in the jewelry industry, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales and maintaining the stores visual standards. You will assist customers in selecting jewelry that meets their preferences and needs, provide expert product knowledge, and contribute to the overall success of the store’s retail operations. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service : Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring they have a memorable shopping experience. Assist customers in choosing jewelry by understanding their preferences and needs. Sales and Targets : Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets. Upsell and cross-sell products by suggesting complementary items. Product Knowledge : Demonstrate a deep understanding of the jewelry products (e.g., types of gemstones, metals, and collections) and communicate product benefits and features to customers. Visual Merchandising : Maintain and ensure the jewelry displays are neat, organized, and visually appealing to attract customers. Monitor stock levels and ensure the store is well-stocked. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. Transaction Processing : Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash, and operate POS systems. Ensure that customers are provided with appropriate receipts, gift wrapping, and warranties. Inventory Control : Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage and display of the jewelry items. Brand Ambassador : Represent the store and brand professionally at all times. Maintain a high level of integrity, ensuring the company’s policies and procedures are adhered to. Qualifications: Previous experience in retail, preferably in the jewelry industry or luxury goods. Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of jewelry and gemstones is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, depending on store needs. Personal Attributes: Passionate about jewelry and delivering great customer service. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Self-motivated, with a strong desire to achieve sales goals. Team player who is also able to work independently.
