Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a licensed and experienced Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose visual problems and eye diseases, prescribe corrective lenses, and educate patients on eye care and preventative practices. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough eye and vision exams. Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids. Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery. Educate patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and disease prevention. Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when needed. Qualifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid license to practice Optometry in Jharkhand. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR). Preferred Skills: Experience in specialty areas (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics, contact lenses). Knowledge of modern diagnostic tools like OCT, fundus cameras, etc. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
