Job Responsibilities of optometrist . opthalmic medical personnel (omps) do tasks that the eye doctor can delegate to others.mostly,they are information gatherers and facilitators. they do measurements and tests that provide the doctor with the infomation needed to arrive at a diagnosis and to prescribe treatment.They also as list with documentation and patient services.some opthalmic medical personnel (omp) assist with surgical procedures.here is a list of common tasks performed by opthalmic medical personnel. visual acuity measurement refraction(measurements for the glasses prescription) tonometry(measure eye pressure) visual field testing corneal thickness measurement(keratometor) A and B SCAN ULTRASONOGRAPHY Surgical assisting Fundus PHOTO Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month Experience: total work: 3 years (Required) Ophthalmology: 1 year (Required) eye care hospital : 1 year (Required)
