Role Overview

As a Lenskart Optometrist, you’ll go beyond traditional eye check-ups. You’ll be a trusted advisor, combining clinical expertise with customer-centric service and product recommendations. This role blends healthcare precision with retail excellence to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Engagement

• Greet and guide walk-in customers to the clinic for complimentary eye check-ups
• Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) through empathetic service and clear communication
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care

Eye Check-Up & Dispensing

• Follow Lenskart’s 12-step optometry process for accurate diagnosis
• Share prescriptions clearly and educate customers on lens options (single vision, progressive, etc.)
• Conduct quality checks before product handover

Product Recommendation & Sales

• Recommend frames and lenses based on customer preferences and lifestyle
• Understand unstated needs and pitch optimal solutions at the right moment
• Achieve sales targets, eye-test conversions, and minimize returns

Store Operations & SOP Adherence

• Maintain store hygiene and equipment standards
• Execute stocktakes and ensure POS transactions are processed smoothly
• Coordinate product pick-ups and manage post-sale follow-ups
