Optometrist Intern

1. Similar to an internship duration 3 months
2. They will be stationed at an Optical/Spectacle Shop and would approach customers either inside or outside the shop.
3. They would ask the customers to try out our contact lenses
4. They need to be able to pitch broad selling points of our contact lenses (like it will give natural look, you can try coloured contact lens etc.)
5. Once the customer has agreed to learn more, then they need to guide the customer to the qualified person inside the shop (who will actually help in the contact lens fitting etc.)
6. Record their work and share daily reports (how many people approached, how many people tried contact lenses, how many converted & purchased etc.)
7. There could be other data collection etc. also required from customers/shop as required.
8. Working hours and days:
1. 6 days a week working full time at optical shop
2. 10:30 am to 7:30 pm every day
3. Weekly off will depend on final store assigned(some stores are off on Tue, some are off on Mon etc.)
4. Expect Weekends to be more busy and fully working days, since more customers shop on weekends.

Stipend:

1. We can look at MAX 20K per month as in-hand salary to the person
2. No other benefits

Profile requirements:

1. Minimum qualification should be Optometry Graduate same or equivalent to below:
1. B.Optom
2. Bachelor of Opthalmic Technology
3. Masters of Optom
4. Diploma in Optometry
2. Should be proactive and outgoing – should not be shy/reserved – since they need to approach people the whole day
3. Well-groomed and pleasant/smart looking
4. Should be able to explain basic commercials (like price etc.)
5. Should be able to explain basic product features (like you can try our coloured lenses Lacelle range etc.)
