Role Overview: As an Optometrist at IISIGHT CHARITABLE EYE HOSPITAL, located in Mohali district, your main responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat visual problems and diseases, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide pre- and post-operative care. Additionally, you will educate patients on eye health and preventive eye care, while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality eye care services for patients. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive eye exams - Diagnose and treat visual problems and diseases - Prescribe corrective lenses - Provide pre- and post-operative care - Educate patients on eye health and preventive eye care - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals Qualifications: - Clinical skills in conducting eye exams, diagnosing, and treating visual problems and diseases - Proficiency in prescribing corrective lenses and providing pre- and post-operative eye care - Strong patient education abilities to inform patients about eye health and preventive eye care - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals - Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school - License to practice optometry in the relevant jurisdiction - Experience in a clinical setting is preferred,
