Optometrist

As a Sr./Junior Optometrist at Eyemantra Hospital in Ghaziabad, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced and comprehensive vision care services to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing comprehensive eye exams to diagnose refractive errors, eye diseases, and other vision-related issues. You will assist patients in selecting appropriate eyeglasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions, conduct vision screening tests, and work closely with ophthalmologists to provide patient care and treatment plans. Additionally, you will advise patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and vision-related products, while maintaining accurate patient records and providing pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients undergoing eye surgery. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Optometry (B.Optom) or equivalent, along with a valid optometrist license as per state regulations. Strong knowledge of eye care equipment and diagnostic tools, the ability to work well in a team, and effective communication skills with patients and colleagues are essential. Attention to detail, a focus on providing the highest level of patient care, and good interpersonal skills are also key to success in this position. While previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous, freshers are also encouraged to apply.
