Overview:

The role involves developing and maintaining scalable web applications, collaborating on project requirements, and mentoring junior team members. Candidates should have web development experience, particularly with JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Vue, along with strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Experience with agile methodologies, API development, and tools like Jira and Visual Studio is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable and maintainable web applications, including user interfaces, third-party integrations, and database management.
• Rapidly build functional prototypes and beta web applications to support market trials.
• Provide support for existing web applications by troubleshooting, fixing bugs, performing upgrades, and enhancing functionality.
• Collaborate with business partners to clarify project requirements, define acceptance criteria, and establish success metrics.
• Train and mentor junior team members to help grow their skills and knowledge.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and best practices are followed.

Who You Are:

• Bachelors degree in computer science (or a related field), with 5 to 7 years of experience in web application development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and JS frameworks like React or Vue.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, and current best practices for web application development.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and processes.
• Experience in building and consuming Web APIs.
• Proficient in unit testing and test-driven development.
• Skilled in using tools such as Jira, Visual Studio, Git, VS Code, and VSTS.
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and a desire to assist and learn from others.
• Ability to comprehend complex business logic and project requirements.
• Willingness to question the status quo and share your opinion
