Job Description

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ophthalmic conditions.
Perform OPD consultations and advise treatment, medication, and follow-up care.
Carry out surgeries as per specialization (Cataract / Retina / Glaucoma / Refractive etc.).
Interpret diagnostic tests (OCT, Fundus, Biometry, Perimetry, Topography).
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for all surgical cases.
Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and OT teams for smooth patient flow.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold NABH clinical standards.
Counsel patients and their families regarding procedures, outcomes, and care plans.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

MBBS + MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
Fellowship (Retina / Cornea / Glaucoma / Pediatric / Refractive) preferred.

Experience

2-5 years of experience in clinical ophthalmology; surgical experience desirable.

Skills

Strong clinical judgment, surgical precision, patient communication, and team coordination.
