Job Description

Designation: - Consultant Ophthalmology

The Brief JDs are as follows

To perform OPD’s as per the clinical protocols of SCEH
To perform surgery (Cataract and / or Sub Specialty) as per the Privileging granted
To follow clinical roster both for OPD and OT’s
To do direct supervision and training of MO’s, DNB’s and Fellows as assigned
To take a keen interest in identifying and developing research ideas
To demonstrate a keen interest in developing knowledge
To participate / contribute / lead in departmental / common classes / Quality MIS and Secondary Centre’s meetings (as invited) and support in closing gaps as come up during the discussions
To participate in the planning and execution of activities in the secondary center (Hospital and community based) to ensure high level of patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction and sustainability
To take Sessions of COP’s(Trainee's) and others as and when requested by the concerned departments
To work in tandem with administrator and consultant in – charge to build up and sustain a quality and team oriented work environment.
