Job Title: Consultant Ophthalmologist

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at [VUE EYE CARE HOSPITAL]. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat various eye disorders and diseases, perform surgeries, and provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Examine and diagnose patients with eye disorders (e.g., cataract, glaucoma, retina issues)

- Perform cataract, glaucoma, and other eye surgeries (e.g., LASIK, corneal transplants)

- Prescribe medications and treatments

- Provide pre and post-operative care

- Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and other medical professionals

- Stay updated with latest ophthalmic advancements

- Participate in research and academic activities

- Maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

- MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology or equivalent

- 2+ years of experience as an Ophthalmologist

- Valid medical registration with [State Medical Council]

- Excellent communication and patient care skills

- Proficiency in [specific skills, e.g., phacoemulsification, OCT]

Preferred Qualifications:

- Fellowship or Diplomate in a sub-specialty (e.g., retina, glaucoma)

- Experience with advanced ophthalmic equipment (e.g., LASER, OCT)

- Research experience or publications in ophthalmology
