Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat eye disorders, vision problems, injuries, and diseases.
  • Conduct eye examinations, refraction tests, and vision screenings.
  • Perform medical and surgical eye procedures such as cataract, glaucoma, squint, LASIK, etc.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and therapies.
  • Manage conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, infections, and corneal disorders.
  • Provide post-operative care and long-term patient follow-up.
  • Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and other specialists for comprehensive eye care.
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive measures, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of ophthalmic diseases, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Proficiency in using slit lamps, fundus cameras, lasers, and surgical instruments.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision for microsurgeries.
  • Good communication, counseling, and patient-care skills.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to make sound clinical judgments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per month
