Experience Required: 3- 5 years Role Overview Opho Tech is seeking a Manager- IT to lead and oversee the company’s entire IT ecosystem—including software, hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity, IT operations, and vendor management. This is a role requiring a strategic and hands-on professional who can design IT architectures, ensure security and compliance, and create scalable implementation strategies. The candidate will be responsible for both internal IT infrastructure and external technology partnerships, aligning all IT initiatives with our business vision, product portfolio, and growth strategy. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Strategy Define and implement the IT roadmap aligned with business strategy and long-term growth. Build IT architecture frameworks that are scalable, secure, and adaptable for both national and international operations. Contribution in IT governance, compliance, and risk management. 2. Infrastructure & Cloud Services Oversee all hardware, software, and cloud services, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Manage IT service delivery, uptime, and business continuity planning. Lead technology modernisation and digital transformation initiatives. 3. Cybersecurity & Risk Management Develop and implement robust IT and cybersecurity policies across the organisation. Monitor, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with national and international data protection and IT security regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001 etc.) 4. Vendor & Product Management Manage external IT vendors, service providers, and consultants, ensuring value and accountability. Lead procurement, device assessments, and vendor evaluations. Collaborate with business and product teams to support IT-enabled product development and portfolio management. 5. IT Service Management (ITSM) Implement and oversee IT service management processes (e.g., ITIL framework). Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents, problems, and requests. Establish KPIs and metrics to measure IT performance and user satisfaction. 6. Architecture & Implementation Design end-to-end IT architecture covering networks, applications, and security. Create implementation strategies for enterprise systems, digital tools, and platforms. Ensure alignment of IT solutions with Company’s growth roadmap and operational efficiency goals. Key Skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. 3-5 years of progressive IT experience. Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/ GCP and enterprise systems. Proven track record in cybersecurity strategy, IT compliance, and governance. Hands-on experience with IT architecture design and digital transformation projects. Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, contracts, and IT budgets. Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Certification in CCNA and CCNP Good-to-Have Skills Experience in AI/ML, automation, or emerging technology adoption. Any of the Certification in PMP, ITIL , CISM, and CSM will be an added advantage IT cost optimisation expertise.
