Operator - Slitting Machine

As an Operator - Slitting, your role involves the following responsibilities: - Conducting Daily Toolbox Talk. - Ensuring cleanliness of machines and machine area. - Loading and unloading rolls. - Starting jobs in designated machines as per planning. - Retrieving cores from Core Storage Area. - Ensuring that hold materials are not kept in Ok Pallets. - Arranging pallets properly. - Keeping wastage under 1.8% during the slitting process and overall wastage under 3%. - Limiting rewinding due to slitting to not more than 1%, with overall rewinding not exceeding 3%. - Preventing customer complaints due to operator negligence. - Transferring Rework Coils to Rewinding Area with proper wrapping on a shift basis. - Wrapping completed pallets to avoid Mix up Complaints and moving them to the ok slitting material area. - Updating MHE/machine Inspection checklist on a daily basis. - Adhering to department SOPs.
