Job Description

Role holder will be accountable for maximising the utilisation of resources work closely with Operations Manager, by optimally allocating the key operational resources (including Manpower, Equipment, and Facilities) on the day of operation.

Role & responsibilities

Accountable for ensuring that the allocation of resources is undertaken independently, without prejudice, and in-line with the planned business needs, the real-time operational demands, and the unscheduled requirements; whereas achieving the Turn Around Time.
Shift-planning - during the shift prior and/or at the start of the shift, considering the actual availability of resources (Manpower, Equipment, and Facilities).
Real-time - considering the availability of resources and the operational environment, undertake all aspects of the real-time allocation of resources in-line with the requirements.
Actively work with the team leaders by providing expert advice, input, and direction to respond to during the shift.
Work as part of a team of Allocators ensuring smooth handover to and from colleagues on shift duties and covering for other departments or areas as required.

Preferred candidate profile

7-10 years of experience (of which at least 3 years in a Supervisory Role) in a Ground handling/Airline industry.
Graduate
Completion of Operational Training Courses would be advantageous viz. AVSEC, Dangerous Goods Handling etc.
Previous experience of having worked within an operational Resource allocation, Shift management, or Overtime Planning.
Must have good analytical skills and be able to quickly respond to changes during the shift
Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must possess advanced computer skills
Desired- NCC - B&C Certification
