Operations- Portfolio Company Data Operations - Professional

As a Senior Professional in the Portfolio Company Data Operations team at KKR's Gurugram office, you will have the exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data and finance. Your role will involve collaborating with a global team to collect, manage, and analyze financial data across a specific strategy. You will play a key role in ensuring that data from over 250 Private Equity Portfolio Companies is controlled, consumable, and curated to provide valuable insights and analytics to internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include performing monthly and quarterly data collection and reporting from financial statements using portfolio monitoring technology. You will maintain a disciplined approach to data management, ensuring a single source of truth for Portfolio Company data throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, you will create and enhance executive-level dashboards, deliver ad hoc data requests, and contribute to building new financial data use cases and analytics. Collaboration with global teams, communication with relevant stakeholders, and providing data-related support will be essential aspects of your role. The ideal candidate for this position would possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, with around 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, data analytics, or a related field. Knowledge of financial statements, core financial metrics, and data analysis is required. Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau, and SQL is necessary, with experience in cloud data warehouse solutions and other data languages considered a plus. A background in Private Equity, Asset/Investment Management, or Private Markets data is preferred. You should demonstrate high attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism. Being adaptable to learning new processes and technologies, showing initiative and a strong work ethic, and being both collaborative and self-directed are key attributes for success in this role. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, are also essential qualities.
