Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight:

    Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of travel booking and support teams, ensuring smooth processing of bookings, amendments, and cancellations.
  • Quality & Performance:

    Monitor and maintain service and quality benchmarks, including Average Handling Time (AHT), First Response Time (FRT), shrinkage, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and optimize the travel process.
  • Team Management:

    Guide and manage teams, including Associate Managers, ensuring productivity targets are met and conducting manpower planning and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    Act as a point of contact for internal departments, clients, and suppliers to resolve escalated issues and ensure effective coordination.
  • Data Analysis:

    Analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in the travel process.
  • Technology Integration:

    Support the integration of new technologies and online booking tools into the workflow.
  • Client & Vendor Relations:

    Liaise with clients to address their needs and work with travel service providers to optimize supplier performance.
  • Reporting:

    Provide detailed reports and analyses on travel expenditures and operational performance to leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:

    Extensive experience in Travel BPO operations, with mandatory experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus.
  • Education:

    A Bachelor's degree is generally required; an MBA is often preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of IATA regulations, travel best practices, and industry trends.
  • Technical Skills:

    Proficiency with GDS platforms and a good understanding of travel technology.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Leadership and people management skills.
    • Data analysis and reporting skills.

Salary between 9 LPA to 12 LPA

Flexible to work in shifts

5.5 days of work in a week
