ABOUT THE ROLE

As Operations Manager, you will own the end-to-end operations of our fintech products: Domestic Money Transfer (DMT), Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS), Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), Loans, and other Financial Services. You'll own service uptime, transaction and settlement accuracy, retailer support, and compliance, while preparing transaction reports, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, maintaining MIS, reporting to management, and working with the product development team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fintech Product Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations for DMT, AEPS, and BBPS services: transaction monitoring, uptime tracking, and issue escalation
• Coordinate with banking/technology partners and direct AEPS/BBPS providers for smooth service delivery and rapid resolution of downtime or failed-transaction issues
• Manage Loans and Financial Services operations, including coordination with lending partners (NBFC/bank tie-ups) on application flow, disbursal tracking, and status updates
• Maintain SLAs for transaction success rates, settlement timelines, and dispute/chargeback resolution

Reconciliation & Settlement

• Ensure daily reconciliation of DMT, AEPS, and BBPS transactions against partner/bank statements
• Track and resolve settlement mismatches, failed transactions, and pending refunds within defined timelines
• Maintain accurate commission and payout records for retailers using fintech services

Retailer & Partner Support

• Act as the operational escalation point for retailer issues related to DMT, AEPS, BBPS, and Loan services
• Coordinate with the field/sales team to resolve retailer-reported service issues quickly
• Liaise with technology/banking partners on API issues, service outages, and onboarding of new service providers

Reporting, MIS & Coordination

• Prepare regular transaction reports across DMT, AEPS, BBPS, Loans, and other fintech products
• Maintain MIS covering transaction volumes, success/failure rates, settlement status, and escalations
• Coordinate with vendors and with internal teams (Finance, Tech, Sales/Field, Compliance) to resolve cross-functional issues
• Report operational status, transaction MIS, and escalations to management regularly
• Work with the Product Development team by sharing operational and retailer feedback, flagging issues, and supporting rollout of new fintech features

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure operational processes for DMT, AEPS, BBPS, and Loans comply with applicable RBI/NPCI and partner-mandated regulatory requirements
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for transactions, KYC, and dispute records

REQUIREMENTS

• MBA (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in fintech, BFSI, payments, or financial services operations
• Working knowledge of DMT, AEPS, BBPS, or similar payment/banking correspondent products strongly preferred
• Exposure to loan/lending operations (NBFC or bank partnership coordination) is a plus
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and vendor/partner coordination skills
• Comfortable working with transaction MIS, dashboards, and reporting tools

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
