Operations Manager-Finance

Role & Responsibilities of

• Credit Transaction Execution & Administration

• Coordinate with investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams for end-to-end closure of credit deals.
• Review sanction terms, credit notes, and investment committee approvals for operational feasibility.
• Manage borrower onboarding, KYC checks, documentation completeness, and pre-disbursement conditions.
• Facilitate timely disbursement of loans/investments per approved terms and internal controls.

• Documentation & Compliance

• Liaise with legal teams for drafting, execution, stamping, and custody of loan documentation, security documents, and ancillary agreements.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations, internal investment policies, and fund-level covenants.
• Maintain and update transaction checklists, operational approvals, and audit trails.

• Portfolio Monitoring & Data Management

• Track borrower financials, repayment schedules, covenant compliance, security perfection, and periodic deliverables.
• Update internal systems with loan exposure, amortization schedules, collateral details, and risk flags.
• Prepare dashboards and MIS for investment team, senior management, and trustees.

• Cash Management & Reconciliation

• Monitor expected inflows (interest, principal, fees) and coordinate collections with borrowers.
• Work closely with finance to reconcile bank transactions, fund accounts, and investor capital.
• Support calculation of interest, penalties, and restructuring implications.

• Investor & Regulatory Reporting

• Assist in preparing quarterly investor reports, portfolio statements, and regulatory filings (SEBI, Trustee, Valuer data, etc.).
• Provide operational support during fund audits (statutory, internal, compliance).
• Ensure timely and accurate data submissions to custodians, administrators, and rating agencies (if applicable).

• Risk & Control

• Identify operational risks and gaps in credit processes, proposing system and workflow enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, RCSA controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Support stress-testing, exposure monitoring, and risk reporting activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Experience:

  years of experience in credit administration, investment operations, or a similar role in a financial institution, preferably in an AIF or NBFC.

• Education:

  MBA/PGDM or a professional qualification like CA, CFA, or CWM.

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of credit processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance (SEBI AIF Regulations).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with various teams (investment, legal, compliance, finance).
• Proficiency in financial analysis, data management, and reporting.
• Familiarity with loan documentation, security creation, and collateral management.
• Basic understanding of accounting and cash management principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial databases/systems.
