Roles and Responsibilities:
● Pre-Inspection & Documentation:Review shipping documents, packing lists, MSDS (if hazardous), and consignee requirements.● Material Verification:Check product type, batch numbers, and quantities; report any damaged, expired, or non-compliantmaterials.● Pallet Inspection:Ensure pallets meet export standards (ISPM-15), are structurally sound, and contamination-free.● Palletizing Oversight:Supervise palletizing for uniform weight distribution and compliance with handling guidelines.● Re-Palletizing (if needed):Oversee transfer to new pallets; ensure accurate re-labelling and document reasons.● Wrapping & Securing:Confirm proper shrink wrapping/strapping; ensure hazardous goods are handled per SDS.● Labelling & Marking:Verify all labels for accuracy, including product info, consignee details, and hazard markings.● Reporting:Prepare inspection reports with supporting photos and issue shipment readiness clearance
