Description
As an Operations and Reporting Senior Analyst at State Street Corporation, you will play a crucial role in the digital transformation of Corporate Audit by leveraging industry best practices and advanced technologies. You will work with a team of professionals to develop and maintain key metrics and reporting solutions for various stakeholders within the Audit function. The role will be based in Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore, India and can be performed in a hybrid model, allowing you to balance work from home and office as per your needs and role requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Combine/analyze multiple data sets using tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for management reporting independently or with minimal support. - Prepare high-quality reports for the Audit Committee, Legal Entity Boards, and senior management aligning with global reporting standards and regulatory expectations. - Develop and maintain dashboards and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making within the Audit function. - Implement improvements in reporting processes by leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. - Support initiatives to streamline MI reporting cycles, reduce manual effort, and enhance reporting infrastructure with technology partners. - Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through regular validation and establishing necessary data quality checks and controls. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related quantitative finance field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience working with large datasets for independent analysis and report development using tools such as SQL, Python, Business Objects, Power BI, and Tableau. - Solid understanding of statistical methods, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability with MS Office Suite Programs. Automation experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate is highly desirable. - Relevant work experience in a financial services company or Risk/Control function is a plus.
