Qualification Required:

• Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology from a recognized institute
  
• Knowledge of

  surgical instruments, sterilization techniques

  , and

  infection control protocols

• Basic computer knowledge for record-keeping and coordination
  

Skills Required:

• Excellent understanding of

  OT procedures and surgical assistance

• Good knowledge of

  sterile techniques and OT equipment handling

• Ability to coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff
  
• Attention to detail, discipline, and time management
  
• Calm and focused under pressure; team-oriented attitude
  

Experience Requirement:

• 35 years of experience as an OT Technician in a

  multi-specialty or oncology hospital

• Experience in

  major and minor surgeries, anesthesia setup, and post-operative care

  preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain

  operation theatre equipment, instruments, and supplies

  before and after surgery
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations with

  instrument handling and setup

• Ensure

  proper sterilization

  of instruments, drapes, and OT area as per infection control norms
• Check functionality of

  OT lights, suction, cautery, and anesthesia machines

  before each case
• Maintain

  OT records, instrument lists, and surgery schedules

  accurately
• Ensure

  availability of consumables and medicines

  required for scheduled surgeries
• Support in

  patient shifting, pre-operative, and post-operative arrangements

• Follow all

  bio-medical waste management protocols

• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and aseptic environment inside OT
  
• Report any malfunction or shortage of OT equipment to the In-Charge immediately
  
• Coordinate with

  CSSD, pharmacy, and nursing

  for smooth OT operations
