Operation Theatre Technician (Scrub - Urology/Laparoscopy) - Male only

As an Operation Theatre Technician (Scrub - Urology/Laparoscopy) at this company, your role involves various responsibilities in the Operation Theatre department. Your main responsibilities will include: - Receiving the patient for surgery and verifying their identification. - Checking the patient files for proper documentation. - Preparing the patient for surgery. - Assisting doctors during the surgery. - Checking and updating the emergency medicines, oxygen, and other drugs in the Operation Theatre. - Sterilizing and looking after the maintenance of all the equipment in the Operation Theatre. - Maintaining proper sterilization practices in the Operation Theatre. - Following the infection control guidelines in the Operation Theatre. - Giving priority to emergency cases and coordinating with consultants/respective departments for the same. - Maintaining appropriate departmental documentation. - Treating all communication about patients, staff, and other organizational business confidentially. - Involvement in Quality Assurance/Quality control activities. - Performing all tasks as assigned due to work exigencies. - Participating in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
