Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operation Theatre Assistant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a hospital setting. The candidate will be responsible for assisting surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment, and preparing the OT before and after operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre before and after surgeries
• Assist the surgical team with instruments and supplies during procedures
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control measures
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Transport patients to and from the OT in coordination with nursing staff
• Maintain inventory of OT instruments and consumables
• Support in documentation and record-keeping as per hospital standards
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Assist in emergency surgeries as per the duty roster

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT Assistant in a reputed hospital
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in emergency situations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in multi-specialty OT
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certified
• Knowledge of biomedical waste management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,844.57 - ₹27,761.93 per month
