As an OpenShift Admin with Kubernetes, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Performing administration and operations of overall Red Hat OpenShift solutions for customers, including developing solution designs, implementation plans, and documentation. - Demonstrating strong hands-on knowledge in Jenkins, OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Nexus. - Experience and good knowledge of Jenkins GitHub Actions, with demonstrated skills in creating CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Docker containerization and clustering, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, OpenShift, and EKS, including knowledge of YAML to create Docker Files for different environments and resources. - Administering source code repositories like GitHub/GitLab, artifact/packages/images management tools such as Nexus/JFrog, etc. - Developing IT automation products and service offerings, assessing automation architecture, and selecting the best methods for implementation, including creating automated tests. - Evaluating and implementing orchestration automation and tooling solutions to ensure consistent processes and reduce defects. - Analyzing platform usage metrics to determine if the platform needs expansion to meet computational needs, planning, and executing engineering tasks as required. - Knowledge of security scanning tools like DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, SCA tools such as Snyk, Sonatype, GitLab, Mend, etc. - Hands-on experience in provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Experience with Linux automation scripting using tools like Ansible, Bash, and Groovy.
