OpenBMC Engineer


Location: Chennai -Bangalore

Experience Level: 3-7 years


Roles & Responsibilities Design and develop new features and enhancements, including porting to new hardware and performance optimization.

Debug and resolve issues reported by customers and internal teams. Understand internal and customer workflows and integrate that knowledge into design and development. Perform unit testing to ensure quality and reliability.

Collaborate with stakeholders on software system design and maintenance. Create, update, and maintain project-specific documentation.

Provide timely technical risk assessments, schedule estimates, and status reports.

Manage complex tasks across multiple projects and competing schedules.


Technical Skills Strong proficiency in C++ Solid understanding of Linux, including kernel and driver-level development and debugging Excellent verbal and written communication


skills Desirable Skills Hands-on experience with OpenBMC Familiarity with the Yocto framework
