Bus Host Responsibilities 1. Passenger Assistance Greet passengers warmly as they board the bus. Help passengers with boarding, seating, and luggage placement. Assist elderly, children, and differently-abled passengers. Answer questions about the route, stops, and schedules politely. 2. Safety and Security Ensure all passengers are seated before the bus moves. Instruct passengers on safety procedures and emergency exits. Check that seat belts (if available) are worn properly. Report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to the driver or supervisor. 3. Cleanliness and Comfort Maintain cleanliness and orderliness inside the bus. Distribute water, snacks, or comfort items if applicable. Ensure air conditioning or ventilation is functioning properly. 4. Communication and Coordination Coordinate with the driver regarding boarding times, stops, or delays. Make announcements as needed (next stop, safety instructions, etc.). Handle minor disputes or complaints professionally and report major issues. 5. Pre- and Post-Trip Checks Ensure the bus is clean before passengers board. Verify passenger list or tickets (if required). Conduct a final check to ensure no belongings are left behind after the trip. 6. Emergency Handling Stay calm and assist passengers during emergencies. Guide passengers safely during evacuation or breakdowns. Use first aid knowledge if someone becomes ill or injured. 7. Customer Service Maintain a polite and professional attitude at all times. Address concerns and feedback courteously. Represent the bus company’s brand image positively. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹600.00 per day Schedule: Night shift Work Location: In person
