Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as
HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Dissolution testers
, etc.
Prepare standard and sample solutions as per method of analysis and SOPs.
Review and interpret analytical data, identify discrepancies, and report out-of-specification (OOS) results.
Perform
method validation, verification, and transfer
activities under supervision.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment per schedule.
Document all activities accurately and in a timely manner in laboratory notebooks and analytical reports.
Ensure compliance with
cGMP, GLP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
.
Participate in internal and external audits and support data/information requests.
Follow all
safety procedures and laboratory best practices
.
Troubleshoot basic instrument issues and escalate as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:
B. Pharma / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
2 - 6 years of experience in QC in a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with
HPLC
(mandatory), GC, UV-Vis, FTIR.
Knowledge of
method validation
, system suitability, and data integrity.
Familiarity with
LIMS, Empower
, or similar lab software is a plus.
Strong knowledge of
GMP, GLP, ICH, and regulatory requirements
.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
