Officer-Business Data Analyst

You will be joining Citi as an Officer, Business Data Analyst - Hybrid based in Pune, India, where you will integrate in-depth data analysis knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Your responsibilities will include monitoring alignment of processes to meet specific requirements, providing functional knowledge for efficient analysis and remediation of data quality issues, collaborating with various teams, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for data quality issues, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, creating data lineage and system flow documentation, and applying analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Integrate in-depth data analysis knowledge with industry standards and practices - Monitor alignment of processes to Enterprise Data Governance Policy and standards - Provide functional knowledge for efficient analysis and remediation of data quality issues - Collaborate with business, operations, technology teams, and Enterprise Data Governance teams - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify solutions for data quality issues - Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and best practices - Create data lineage and system flow documentation - Apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies **Qualifications Required:** - 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Business Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or Systems Analysis - Excellent analytical and reasoning skills - Experience in data governance, data management, or related roles (Manta OR Collibra) - Experience with data management processes, tools, and applications including data cataloging, process mapping, and lineage toolsets - Experience in data profiling and writing SQL queries Working at Citi offers more than just a job; it is a career where you can grow, give back to the community, and make a real impact.
