Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical, emotional, developmental, and psychological condition.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Provide therapy to improve patients’ abilities in daily living activities (ADLs) like dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment like wheelchairs, splints, or dressing aids.
• Monitor and document progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients’ families and caregivers about care plans and how to support recovery at home.
• Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely records and reports as per regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient care planning.
• Stay updated with developments in occupational therapy and rehabilitation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Registered with relevant Occupational Therapy Council or licensing board.
• Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred (fresher may be considered).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work empathetically and patiently with individuals with varying disabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
