Obsolescence Manager

The key responsibility for this role involves identifying and assessing hardware components that are at risk of obsolescence or approaching end-of-life status, such as integrated circuits, semiconductors, and mechanical components vital to aerospace systems. You will conduct thorough assessments of component availability, analyze lifecycle data, and predict obsolescence trends by monitoring market changes, supplier information, and technological advancements. Collaboration with the systems engineering team is essential to evaluate the impact of obsolescence on current and future aerospace projects. In addition to identification and risk assessment, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate the effects of obsolescence.
