Observability

As an Observability Admin, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and performance of systems through advanced observability solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their value chain and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system observability. - Defining and implementing monitoring and alerting strategies for complex distributed systems. - Establishing best practices for logging, tracing, and monitoring in collaboration with tools teams and application teams. - Assessing, selecting, and implementing observability tools and technologies aligned with organizational goals. - Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in collaboration with development and operations teams. - Quickly diagnosing and resolving production issues related to observability in collaboration with incident response teams. - Developing and maintaining incident response playbooks to streamline troubleshooting processes. Qualifications Required: - Strong background in distributed systems, cloud technologies, and proficiency in tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar. - In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms. - Expertise in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java). - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Proficiency in monitoring tools, incident management, and other relevant technologies. - Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to diverse teams and stakeholders. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.,
