Role Description We’re hiring a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to lead product development in smart embedded systems and surveillance solutions. In this on-site role , you will be responsible for: Designing, developing, and optimizing embedded firmware Building application-level logic on Linux using C++ Integrating third-party libraries , RTSP / LIVE555 , and camera SDKs Collaborating with cross-functional teams (hardware, cloud, QA) Debugging real-time issues and improving system reliability Managing secure firmware upgrades and OTA mechanisms Documenting firmware architecture, build processes, and revisions Qualifications ✔️ Proficient in C/C++ and embedded firmware development ✔️ Strong understanding of Linux build systems , toolchains, and cross-compilation ✔️ Experience with RTSP , LIVE555 , IP camera SDKs , or video streaming ✔️ Knowledge of inter-process communication (IPC) and low-level hardware drivers ✔️ Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE, etc.) and real-time operating systems (RTOS) ✔️ Demonstrated ability to debug , profile , and optimize embedded applications ✔️ Understanding of secure firmware upgrade mechanisms and encryption ✔️ Strong communication and documentation skills ✔️ Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics, Computer Engineering , or related fields ✔️ Experience in consumer electronics , smart security systems , or healthcare devices is a plus 🌟 Why NXON?
