Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognized training institutionA registration certificate from the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians InstituteA valid practicing from the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians InstituteCertificate in computer application skills will be an added advantage

Implementing nutrition programmesProviding nutrition services in health care facilitiesConducting nutrition assessmentsCollecting and compiling nutrition dataProviding nutrition health education and demonstrationsCounselling of patients with specific nutritional needsMonitoring preparation of therapeutic feedsImplementing outpatient and inpatient supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmesPromoting maternal, infant and young children feeding programmesProviding micronutrient supplementation
