Qualifications

- GNM or BSc Nursing: A General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) degree from a recognized institution is usually required.

- Registration: You should be registered as a nurse or midwife with the State or Central Nursing Council of India.

Experience

- Teaching Experience: A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience is often preferred, although this may vary depending on the institution.

- Clinical Experience: Prior clinical experience is also valuable, as it demonstrates your practical skills and ability to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.

Role and Responsibilities

- Teaching: Nursing faculty members teach students in classroom and clinical settings, covering topics such as patient care, nursing procedures, and healthcare policies.

- Clinical Guidance: They provide guidance and supervision to students during clinical rotations, helping them develop practical skills and apply theoretical knowledge.

- Curriculum Development: Nursing faculty members may contribute to curriculum development, ensuring that educational programs meet regulatory standards and industry needs.

- Assessment and Evaluation: They assess student performance, provide feedback, and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs.
