Nursing Assistant for Elderly Care Facility

Direct Patient Care

• Provide daily nursing care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance, with respect and compassion.
• Monitor residents vital signs, health conditions, and symptoms, and report changes promptly to senior staff.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed by the medical team.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence where possible.

Health Monitoring and Reporting

• Regularly document residents health status, interventions, and any significant changes in medical records.
• Communicate any urgent concerns or abnormalities to the nursing head or medical team immediately.
• Assist in updating individualized care plans based on residents evolving needs.

Infection Control and Hygiene

• Follow strict infection control protocols, including hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure residents living areas and equipment are clean and sanitized to maintain a safe environment.
• Educate residents on hygiene practices, where applicable.

Emotional and Social Support

• Foster positive relationships with residents, providing emotional support and companionship.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their mental well-being.
• Respect residents dignity, preferences, and cultural sensitivities at all times.

Safety and Risk Management

• Implement fall prevention measures and ensure the safe use of mobility aids.
• Identify and mitigate risks, such as pressure ulcers, dehydration, or choking hazards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, such as falls or sudden health deteriorations, following established protocols.

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Work collaboratively with nursing colleagues, doctors, therapists, and other staff to ensure seamless care.
• Participate actively in team meetings and handovers to share insights about residents needs and progress.
• Assist peers during busy shifts to maintain a high standard of care.

Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing notes, including care delivered and any observations.
• Follow all facility protocols, including medication administration, safety checks, and documentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal requirements in all caregiving activities.

Continuous Learning and Improvement

• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in elderly care.
• Stay updated on best practices in geriatric nursing, including new equipment or procedures.
• Provide feedback to supervisors for improving care processes and resident satisfaction.

Payment: 15k to 20k per month
