Nurse Home Care

As a Home Care Nurse at our facility in Bangalore or Kochi, you will be responsible for observing and assessing the health of our clients. You will monitor vital signs, reactions to medications, and changes in behavior and condition. Reporting directly to the client's physician and family, you will communicate any concerns regarding new medical conditions or deteriorating health. Additionally, you may administer treatments based on your specialized skills, such as therapeutic rehabilitation. Your role will involve providing medical and personal care to individuals who are chronically ill, disabled, or suffering from cognitive impairments. This includes assisting clients with activities of daily living like bathing, grooming, and eating. You will be required to offer individual attention and nursing care, ensuring the medical and emotional well-being of your patients. In this position, you must be prepared to work both 12-hour and 24-hour shifts either at our facility or as a home nurse at the patient's residence. Home care nurses play a crucial role in combating feelings of depression and isolation among homebound patients by providing companionship, engaging in conversations, and establishing personal connections. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and administering medications, intravenous infusions, and other treatments. You will assess and plan nursing care requirements, provide pre- and post-operation care, tracheotomy care, NG tube feeding, as well as take patient samples, pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures. Keeping detailed records of your observations and interventions is an essential part of this role. Key skills that are vital for success in this position include good health and fitness, a caring and compassionate nature, excellent teamwork and communication skills, keen observational abilities, initiative, resilience, and stamina to handle emotionally charged and pressured situations effectively. To qualify for this role, you should possess a BSc in Nursing, GNM, or ANM, with 2-4 years of relevant experience as a Home Care Nurse in a multi-specialty healthcare setting.
