Key Responsibilities:

Determine and conduct appropriate diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures based on clinical indications such as PET, SPECT, bone scans, myocardial perfusion scans, renal scans, thyroid scans, etc.
Select suitable radiopharmaceuticals, prescribe and administer appropriate dosages, and ensure radiation dose optimization while maintaining proper documentation.
Interpret imaging studies and prepare detailed diagnostic reports.
Ensure compliance with AERB and institutional safety protocols.
Prevent misadministration and promptly report any incidents.
Obtain and document informed consent, provide pre and post procedure instructions.
Collaborate with referring physicians and other specialists.
Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary meetings, and case reviews.
Supervise and guide nuclear medicine technologists and junior staff as needed.
Stay updated with the latest advances in nuclear medicine technology and treatments.

Qualifications:

MBBS with an MD/DNB or DRM in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized institution.
Valid medical license and registration with the relevant medical council.
Board certification in Nuclear Medicine (where applicable).
