- 1. Production Management. Supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth operations. Monitor feed mixing, grinding, and packing processes. Ensure timely production as per demand and dispatch schedules. 2. Quality Control Ensure raw materials and finished feed meet quality standards. Coordinate with the lab for regular sampling and testing. Maintain records of batch production and quality reports. 3. Inventory Management Maintain stock records of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods. Coordinate with the store and purchase departments for inventory needs. 4. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations. Implement workplace safety practices and conduct regular safety checks. 5. Reporting Prepare daily/weekly production reports. Report issues or delays to the plant manager or senior management. 6. Cost Efficiency Minimize wastage of raw materials and energy. Identify areas to improve productivity and reduce operational costs. Food Preparation Prepare authentic South Indian dishes like Idli, Dosa, Vada, Upma, Pongal, Sambhar, Rasam, etc. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. 2. Menu Planning Develop and update menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Innovate new dishes while maintaining traditional authenticity. 3. Quality & Hygiene Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness. Follow FSSAI guidelines and safety protocols. 4. Kitchen Supervision Oversee junior kitchen staff and helpers. Train staff in preparation and plating of South Indian dishes. 5. Inventory Management Monitor stock levels of ingredients and spices. Coordinate with the purchase department for fresh supplies. 6. Customer Focus Ensure dishes meet customer expectations. Be open to customer feedback and continuously improve. --- Desired Candidate Profile: Proven experience as a South Indian cook/chef (minimum 3–5 years). Knowledge of various South Indian regional cuisines (Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Kerala, Karnataka). Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
