NPD & Shift Lead

You will be responsible for coordinating with the PPC Lead and ensuring the effective execution of the product plan to achieve the desired output. This includes allocating manpower based on operator competency and machine/part/multi-axis requirements, as well as managing employee work hours and leave days in accordance with guidelines. In this role, you will take ownership of part setting, troubleshooting, and training operators to enhance output efficiency. You will also be tasked with monitoring production parameters such as productivity, quality, safety, and breakdowns to contribute to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Analyzing these parameters and taking necessary actions to achieve the desired OEE will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to perform routine tasks such as maintaining 5S on the shop floor, conducting preventive maintenance, and monitoring coolant updates as per the required frequency. Ensuring updates on injuries/incidents related to safety and leading cross-functional activities with departments like Stores, Quality, and Engineering to support production output will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will need to coordinate with the administration and HR teams to provide necessary employee facilities during B and C shifts.
