Role Overview As Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day production planning, managing operators and tailors, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and upholding the highest quality standards. This role demands someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can build systems from scratch, and enjoys solving real operational challenges on the floor. Key Responsibilities Create and execute detailed production plans based on sales forecasts and order volumes Oversee daily floor operations across cutting, stitching, finishing, and quality control Supervise operators, allocate manpower, and ensure smooth shift transitions Monitor hourly output, address bottlenecks, and drive process improvements Collaborate with QC team to maintain first-pass quality and reduce rework Liaise with inventory/store teams to ensure fabric and trims are available on time Track and report key metrics: production output, downtime, rejection rates, absenteeism, etc. Implement lean practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste Support the ramp-up of new product lines and seasonal spikes in demand Required Qualifications 10 years of experience in garment manufacturing (preferably knits or woven stretch fabric) Prior experience managing production lines in an export house or D2C brand Strong understanding of SMV planning, line balancing, and stitching techniques Proven leadership managing large floor teams and solving real-time production issues Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with digital tools for reporting Bonus: Experience in setting up or scaling a new factory is highly preferred What We Offer Opportunity to build and lead processes from the ground up Entrepreneurial environment with ownership and fast decision-making Work closely with the founding team Competitive compensation, performance-linked incentives, and long-term growth Show more Show less

Key Responsibilities End-to-End Quality Control: Supervise quality checks from fabric inspection to final packed product across all production stages In-Line Audits: Conduct real-time audits during stitching, finishing, and packing to ensure defect-free output Standardization: Develop and enforce QA SOPs, inspection checkpoints, and garment measurement standards Root Cause Analysis: Investigate recurring quality issues and coordinate with production to implement corrective actions Training & Monitoring: Train line checkers, QCs, and production teams on quality standards and workmanship expectations Reporting & Documentation: Maintain quality reports, rejection logs, and inspection records with clarity and rigor Customer Returns Feedback Loop: Analyze return and exchange data to improve future product quality.
