Non-Functional Tester

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting process delivery by ensuring the performance of the application meets quality attributes such as Performance, Scalability, Security, Usability, and Reliability. Your role as a Non-Functional Tester will require hands-on experience in performance testing tools, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze non-functional requirements for banking applications. - Identify and conduct key metrics validations like Load, Stress, and Soak. - Design, develop, and execute Performance test scenarios based on real-world banking workloads. - Create and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter. - Monitor application performance using APM tools to identify bottlenecks in Application servers, Database Layers, Network, and Middleware components. - Collaborate with DB teams to validate query performance and optimize SQL as needed. - Work with Development, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues. - Prepare test summary reports, performance dashboards/metrics, and provide actionable recommendations for improvements. Qualifications Required: - Basic scripting knowledge in JAVA, C Programming. - Strong knowledge in SQL for data validation and backend testing. - Working experience with Git, Jenkins, or any other CI/CD tools. - Exposure to Performance tools like Load Runner, Silk Performer, Soap UI. - Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like DX-APM, App Dynamics. - Knowledge of Citrix protocols, Web HTTP/HTML protocols, Oracle NCA protocols. - Understanding of banking compliance, security policies, and transaction flows. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional/Agile/Scrum teams. - Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS/Azure) can be an added advantage.,
