Node.js + MySQL Backend Engineer - Atulsia Technologies Node.js + MySQL Backend Engineer We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and MySQL to join our growing team at Atulsia Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, writing optimized SQL queries, managing databases, and ensuring smooth API integrations for enterprise-grade applications. Job Master Data: Monthly Salary Range No. of available positions Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Node.js Create and optimize complex SQL queries, joins, indexing , and stored procedures in MySQL Build and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs Design efficient database schemas to support application logic and business requirements Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers for seamless integration Implement authentication, authorization, and other backend services Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and performance Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues Must-Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express.js Deep knowledge of MySQL , including complex query writing, performance tuning, and database normalization Experience in RESTful API development and integration Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming , and error handling Familiarity with version control systems like Git Experience with Postman , SQL clients , and database management tools Nice-to-Have Skills : Knowledge of ORMs like Sequelize or Knex.js (and also raw SQL when required) Exposure to Docker , Redis , or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.) Experience with unit testing (Mocha, Jest, etc.) Familiarity with GraphQL , WebSockets , or real-time data handling Understanding of backend security best practices Who You Are: A problem-solver with a strong grasp of backend architecture Someone who writes clean, efficient, and maintainable code Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment A self-starter who takes ownership and delivers with accountability Passionate about learning, improving, and delivering value to real users Flexible work hours and hybrid/remote work options Learning and upskilling opportunities Collaborative, transparent, and supportive work culture Exposure to global clients and large-scale enterprise projects apply online here We believe that the world is changed by people who care about things that matter.
